Its officially Friday! Thank Godess because for a short week, its been a long week! Days after a holiday are always a little rough but with the reno and all it's been particularly busy. Now that this is all done however, I'll finally have a chance for a little downtime this weekend.

I spoke to my Grams on msn last night. Its very rare that I ever take the time to chat on my msn but when she popped up I had to find out how life was in Barrie. She asked if my Dad had told me about my Grandad's recent issues. Hell no of course he hasn't. My Dad never tells me anything, not unless I pry the info out of him. It would seem my Grandad had his license taken away from him. I could hardly believe what I was reading! They said he was just not quick enough to respond. His hands aren't working like they used to. This made my heart so very sad. I know my time with them around is very short and I'm not a silly twit, I know he's 84 but come on! He's my Grandad! A great deal of who I am is because of my Grandparents. They were the foundation of my family. Sunday's at their house was second nature when I was a little girl.
If we didn't go to Granada and Grama's house I knew something was seriously wrong! A lot of childhood memories revolve around them. To hear this last night made me sad.
I asked how he was taking it..(Grandad is a stubborn man) And he's finally doing okay with it. They had to take a taxi yesterday because they needed groceries and my Uncle couldn't take them. Wow...time is flying by and I don't even know it. Now all we have to do is convince him to get rid of the damn Snowblower and hire someone to do the driveway. Apparently he tells my Grams that they're not going to take everything away from him...I love him so much.

Ahh Wednesday...one of my fave days. Only because its steps away from Friday. And TGI friggin F baby! Dont know if I have any reno pics that I kept on the computer...gona hafta check. In the meantime...I'll chat ya's latah~!~ :)
